Corruption is the Biggest Obstacle to Societal Development: DG Anti-Corruption Establishment Balochistan, Abdul Wahid Kakar
Quetta: The Director General of the Anti-Corruption Establishment Balochistan, Abdul Wahid Kakar, has stated that corruption is the biggest obstacle to the development of any society. He emphasized that it stands as the greatest barrier to achieving justice, equality, and prosperity.
In his message on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day, Kakar reaffirmed the commitment of the Anti-Corruption Establishment Balochistan to promote transparency, accountability, and justice, with the aim of realizing the dream of a corruption-free Balochistan. He stressed that it is everyone’s responsibility to raise their voices against corruption and take actions that lead to a cleaner and brighter future.
He called on all to unite on this global day to express the collective resolve to not tolerate any form of corruption and contribute to creating a better society for future generations.
Kakar highlighted that eradicating corruption is essential to lifting Balochistan out of its ongoing challenges. He pointed out that without the elimination of corruption, the dream of national progress cannot be realized.
“Corruption has become one of the greatest injustices of today’s society,” he added. “It is our collective responsibility to combat it.” He also noted that, unfortunately, Pakistan is among the countries severely affected by corruption.
