Champions Trophy 2025 Kicks Off Today with Pakistan vs New Zealand: SOPs for Stadium Entry

The highly anticipated Champions Trophy 2025 officially begins today in Pakistan, with the opening match featuring Pakistan facing New Zealand. The match will take place at the National Stadium in Karachi, where thousands of cricket fans are expected to attend.
In light of the large crowd and to ensure smooth security and administrative operations, the event organizers have issued Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for attendees. According to these SOPs, several items will be prohibited inside the stadium.
Fans will not be allowed to bring power banks or AirPods into the stadium. Those carrying these items will be stopped by security personnel and denied entry. Additionally, items such as gutka, betel nuts, intoxicants, or weapons are strictly prohibited.
As per the SOPs, attendees are also not permitted to bring their own food or water bottles. However, food and refreshments will be available for purchase at stalls within the stadium.
Moreover, all spectators are required to bring their original identification card and a hard copy of their match ticket. Entry will not be allowed with online tickets or digital copies.
These measures are being implemented to ensure the safety and smooth functioning of the event, as cricket fans from around the world gather to witness the action unfold.
