Rocket Attack, Gunfire Target Tribal Guest House and Police Station in Kachhi Bolan
BOLAN (Daily Qudrat Quetta): Unknown armed men attacked the guest house of prominent Jamot tribal figure Mir Shafi Muhammad Abro and the Kathan Police Station with rockets and heavy gunfire in the Dildar area of Kachhi Bolan district, sources said.
According to sources, the attack caused extensive damage to the vehicles of Mir Shafi Muhammad Abro and his guests. During the assault on Kathan Police Station, the entire police record of the station was allegedly set on fire and destroyed.
A heavy exchange of fire reportedly continued for around an hour between the unidentified attackers and armed guards of the tribal figure. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
Following the attack, a large contingent of local police and security forces reached the area. The attackers reportedly took advantage of darkness and fled the scene.
Police and security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to locate and arrest the attackers. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
