Hand Grenade Attack Near Jirga in Mand, Turbat; Vehicles Damaged, No Casualties

Turbat: A hand grenade attack was carried out near a jirga in the Mand area of Turbat, causing partial damage to a few vehicles but resulting in no loss of life.

According to police sources, a jirga was being held at Zubaida Jalal School in Mand tehsil of Kech district to address public issues. The jirga was chaired by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Fisheries Balochistan, Haji Barkat Rind.

During the gathering, a hand grenade exploded in the parking area in front of the school gate, damaging two nearby vehicles. Police confirmed that no one was injured in the blast and that the jirga continued as scheduled until the last reports.

Law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the incident.
