YDA Balochistan Condemns Alleged Attempt on Life of Fatima Jinnah Hospital MS

QUETTA: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) Balochistan has strongly condemned an alleged attempt on the life of Dr. Kamalan Gachki, Medical Superintendent of Fatima Jinnah Hospital Quetta, within the hospital premises and demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible.
In a statement, the YDA said Dr. Kamalan Gachki remained safe in the incident and was out of danger.
The association described the hospital as a sacred place where patients come for medical treatment, stressing that any attack on doctors or medical staff inside hospital premises was a serious violation of the law and a threat to the entire healthcare system.
The YDA Balochistan demanded that the provincial government immediately arrest the suspects involved in the incident and take strict legal action against them.
The association also called for immediate and effective security arrangements at Fatima Jinnah Hospital and all other government hospitals across Balochistan to ensure the safety of doctors, healthcare workers and patients.
The YDA warned that if the government failed to take concrete measures to protect doctors and medical staff, the association would be compelled to launch a protest.
