Balochistan Opposition Leader Younis Aziz Zehri Visits Jhalawan Teaching Hospital, Inaugurates Restored Operation Theatre
QUETTA (Daily Qudrat): Opposition Leader in the Balochistan Assembly and MPA from Khuzdar, Mir Younis Aziz Zehri, conducted a detailed visit to Jhalawan Teaching Hospital Khuzdar and inaugurated an operation theatre restored under the Balochistan Sustainable Development Initiative (BSDI).
The visit was attended by Commissioner Qalat Division Qadir Bakhsh Perkani, Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar Abdul Razzaq Sasoli, SSP Khuzdar Dostain Dashti, Chief Officer Wadera Muhammad Saleh Jamot, XEN Buildings Saleem Umrani, XEN PHE Abdul Rauf Qambrani, XEN Irrigation Saeed Mustafa, All Parties Citizens Action Committee Chairman Bashir Ahmed Jatak, Medical Superintendent Dr Shabbir Ahmed Mengal, District Health Officer Khuzdar, Engineer Niaz Zehri, Engineer Younis Ramzan Musiani and other senior district officials.
During the visit, Mir Younis Aziz Zehri formally inaugurated the operation theatre restored under the BSDI initiative. He also inspected various departments of the hospital and reviewed the medical facilities being provided to patients, cleanliness arrangements, treatment facilities and the overall condition of the hospital.
The opposition leader, along with Commissioner Qalat Division Qadir Bakhsh Perkani and Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar Abdul Razzaq Sasoli, met officials and staff working in different departments of the hospital. They appreciated their performance and efforts to provide healthcare services to the public and discussed measures required for further improvement.
Medical Superintendent Dr Shabbir Ahmed Mengal briefed the opposition leader and senior district officials about ongoing development and healthcare initiatives, facilities available to patients and future projects at the hospital.
Mir Younis Aziz Zehri said providing basic facilities, particularly healthcare services, to the people of Khuzdar and making government institutions more effective and functional were among the top priorities.
He said all possible measures would be taken to further improve the existing facilities at the hospital and provide better medical treatment to the people.
The opposition leader also visited the children’s ward and inspected ongoing work on newly constructed projects at the hospital.
At the conclusion of the visit, Mir Younis Aziz Zehri appreciated the district administration and hospital management for their efforts to serve the public and improve the institution.
He also offered prayers for the success and welfare of the projects being completed through the BSDI initiative.
