Historic Wheel-Jam and Shutter-Down Strike in Balochistan Shows People Are the True Owners, Says Mahmood Khan Achakzai

Quetta/Islamabad:Chairman of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, head of Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Aain Pakistan, and Member of National Assembly Mahmood Khan Achakzai declared that the historic and successful wheel-jam and shutter-down strike across Balochistan has proven that the true owners of this country are its people—not the rulers imposed through fake mandates and Form-47.

He said that traders, transporters, students, workers, and people from all walks of life voluntarily shut down their businesses, offices, educational institutions, and transport, demonstrating unity and courage. According to him, this was not just a strike but a “referendum against terrorism” and a vote of no confidence against a government established through wealth and force.

Achakzai added that the people’s collective response to the cowardly attack on the memorial gathering of late Sardar Attaullah Khan Mengal showed their patriotism and commitment to protecting life and property, ensuring peace, upholding the Constitution, and guaranteeing the rule of the people.

He emphasized that the strike was not only a political protest but also a historic milestone, symbolizing the oppressed people’s resistance and just struggle, which will be remembered forever.
