Seven Militants Killed in Intelligence-Based Operation in Balochistan’s Kharan

KHARAN:Security forces have killed seven militants during an intelligence-based operation in the Laja area of Kharan district in Balochistan, according to security sources.
The operation was launched after intelligence reports indicated the presence of militants in the area. Security sources said seven members of Fitna al-Khawarij were killed during the operation, while several others were injured.
Modern weapons, ammunition and other military equipment were recovered from the militants’ hideouts, the sources said.
Security forces also recovered a motorcycle and two vehicles from the hideouts and completely destroyed the militant positions.
According to security sources, the militants were allegedly involved in extortion, kidnapping, targeted killings and planning suicide attacks.
The sources said security operations against militants are continuing under **Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3** as part of efforts to eliminate terrorism from the country.
A day earlier, security forces had also killed **10 militants belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan** during an operation in Khuzdar, Balochistan.
