Balochistan Minister Alleges Suspects in Asma Jatak Case Sheltered by Influential Figures, Criticizes Khuzdar Administration

Quetta: Balochistan Minister Ali Madad Jatak has strongly criticized the Khuzdar administration over the alleged kidnapping of Asma Jatak’s brother and the murder of her father, questioning the role of local authorities in handling the case.
Speaking on the matter, Jatak asked why senior officials, including the Deputy Commissioner of Khuzdar, had failed to take effective action. He said that if the suspects are not arrested, Asma Jatak’s family would have no hope of receiving justice.
The provincial minister alleged that individuals involved in the incident are still being sheltered at the residences of influential people. He also expressed serious concern that no First Information Report (FIR) had been registered despite two days having passed since the incident.
Jatak further revealed that Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has taken notice of the case and has sought a detailed report from the relevant authorities.
