Balochistan’s Progress Depends on Tribal Unity and Harmony, Says Mir Liaquat Lehri

Quetta: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central leader and Parliamentary Secretary for Transport Mir Liaquat Lehri has said that Balochistan’s development, stability, and prosperity depend on unity, mutual trust, and brotherhood among the province’s tribes.

He made the remarks during a meeting with elders of the Norzai tribe, who visited Lehri House in Quetta. The delegation was warmly received by Mir Liaquat Lehri and elders of the Lehri tribe.

During the meeting, participants discussed issues related to mutual respect, peace and security, inter-tribal harmony, and regional development.

Mir Liaquat Lehri said that differences should be resolved through dialogue, tolerance, and mutual understanding, emphasizing that cooperation among tribes is essential for ensuring lasting peace and sustainable development in Balochistan.

He reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the tradition of working collectively with all tribal communities to promote peace, brotherhood, and public welfare, with the goal of providing future generations with a peaceful and united society.

The Norzai tribal elders appreciated Mir Liaquat Lehri’s hospitality and reaffirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts aimed at promoting unity, peace, and the overall development of the region.
