FIA Cracks Down on Illegal Currency Exchange in Quetta: Two Arrested, Cash and Dollars Seized

Quetta: The **Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)** conducted a successful operation in Quetta, arresting **two individuals** involved in **illegal currency exchange and hawala-hundi transactions**.

According to an **FIA Balochistan spokesperson**, the suspects — **Muhammad Musa** and **Muhammad Ali** — were apprehended during the raid, which led to the recovery of **US$6,100** and more than **Rs4.35 million** in local currency.

Authorities revealed that the accused were **operating without a valid money exchange license**. The FIA also seized **mobile phones and other incriminating evidence** during the operation.

A **case has been registered** against both individuals, and **further investigation** is underway to uncover their network and possible links to other illegal financial operators.
