Karachi’s Electricity Rates Increased by 40 Paisa per Unit

Karachi: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has announced an increase in electricity prices for Karachi, raising the cost by 40 paisa per unit. The hike is part of the monthly adjustment for August 2024.
NEPRA issued a notification confirming the price increase, stating that K-Electric will collect the additional charges from consumers in the January 2025 bills.
