‘RAW Is the Mastermind Behind TTP and BLA,’ Says Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has alleged that India’s external intelligence agency, RAW, is the force behind banned militant organizations operating against Pakistan, including the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
Speaking on the security situation in the province, Bugti said that peace would prevail in Balochistan and that no one could stop the province from moving towards stability and development. He reiterated that Pakistan and Balochistan are inseparable.
“RAW is behind all of them, including the TTP and the BLA,” he said while criticizing what he described as foreign-sponsored terrorism targeting Pakistan.
Earlier, during an interactive session with students at the ISPR Summer Camp, the Chief Minister stated that terrorists had brutally killed patriotic people of Balochistan for refusing to support them. He claimed that the Mangi Dam project was targeted because of its significance in providing water to the province.
Bugti said that after an attack on police personnel, the responding security forces also came under attack. He added that a judicial commission had been constituted to investigate the incident and assured that all facts would be brought before the nation.
The Chief Minister also criticized certain political leaders for allegedly spreading misinformation against the state during a protest sit-in in Quetta. He maintained that organized conspiracies against Pakistan would be defeated through the collective efforts of the Pakistan Armed Forces and the people of Balochistan.
Referring to recent tensions with India, Bugti said Pakistan had responded firmly to Indian aggression under the leadership of the country’s military leadership and claimed that the nation stood united with its armed forces during what he termed “Marka-e-Haq.”
He further alleged that terrorists acting at India’s behest had witnessed the consequences faced by their masterminds and stressed that terrorism and violence can never be justified under any circumstances.
Bugti reiterated that Pakistan was created to endure as a sovereign nation-state and expressed confidence in the country’s future, stating that every citizen would be able to live freely and without fear.
He also claimed that Afghan territory was being used by terrorist groups to carry out attacks against Pakistan.
