Supreme Court Fixes Hearing on Petition Regarding Meetings With PTI Founder

Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has scheduled for hearing a petition concerning requests to meet the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

According to court records, a three-member bench headed by Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar will hear the case on July 20.

The petitions were filed by Mashal Yousafzai and Uzma Khan, who have sought permission to meet the PTI founder, who is currently incarcerated.

During the previous hearing, the Supreme Court directed the Superintendent of Adiala Jail and the Advocate General Islamabad to submit their responses regarding the matter.

The upcoming hearing is expected to address the legal and administrative issues surrounding visitation rights and the petitioners’ requests for meetings.

Further proceedings will take place before the three-member bench as the court considers the responses submitted by the relevant authorities.
