Quetta Sit-in Talks Conclude Successfully, ANP Leader Urges Implementation of Agreement

QUETTA: Negotiations between the families participating in the sit-in and a Balochistan government delegation have concluded successfully, marking a significant step toward resolving the ongoing protest.

Reacting to the development, Awami National Party (ANP) Balochistan President Asghar Khan Achakzai welcomed the outcome, saying it was a moment of relief after days of demonstrations.

“After so many days of the sit-in, today is a day of happiness as the talks have been successful,” Achakzai said.

He stressed that the real test now begins for all political parties, urging them to ensure the full implementation of the agreement reached between the two sides.

Achakzai also thanked both the government and the families of the victims for showing patience and restraint throughout the negotiation process, saying their willingness to engage in dialogue had made the agreement possible.

He warned that failure to implement the agreed terms would undermine public confidence, emphasizing that all parties must honor their commitments to maintain trust and ensure lasting peace.
