Iran Condemns Latest US Strikes, Says Diplomatic Efforts Have Been Undermined

Tehran:Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the latest U.S. military strikes, stating that the attacks have rendered months of diplomatic efforts ineffective.
In a statement, the ministry said the United States had openly interfered in Iran’s management of the Strait of Hormuz, creating renewed insecurity in the strategic waterway and disrupting international commercial shipping.
The statement further claimed that talks held in **Muscat** on Saturday had focused on the administration of the Strait of Hormuz. According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the United States pressured Oman, preventing the negotiations from reaching a successful outcome.
The remarks come amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran following the latest U.S. military operations. The claims made by Iran regarding the negotiations and U.S. involvement have not been independently verified, and there has been no immediate response from U.S. or Omani officials.
