Political Parties Announce Protests in Three Balochistan Cities in Solidarity with Mangi Ziarat Attack Victims

Quetta: Several political parties have announced protest demonstrations in Qila Saifullah, Pishin, and Loralai on Sunday, July 12, to express solidarity with the families of police personnel and other victims who were killed in the recent terrorist attack in Mangi Phase III, Ziarat.

According to a joint statement issued by the participating parties, the demonstrations are being organized by the Awami National Party (ANP), Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PNAP), National Democratic Movement (NDM), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and several other political and democratic groups.

The statement described the attack in Mangi Phase III as a tragic act of terrorism that claimed precious lives. It said the protests aim to express solidarity with the bereaved families, condemn terrorism, and demand effective measures to restore peace and security in the region.

The parties urged their workers, office-bearers, youth, students, and the general public to participate in large numbers to show support for the victims’ families and demonstrate a united stance against terrorism.

The joint statement added that political unity and public participation are essential to confronting terrorism, lawlessness, and anti-public policies, stressing that the sacrifices of those who lost their lives should not be forgotten.
