Complete Shutter-Down Strike Observed in Sanjavi in Solidarity with Martyrs of Mangi Dam Attack

Sanjavi: A complete shutter-down strike was observed in Sanjavi Bazaar on the call of the Central Traders Association to express solidarity with the police personnel martyred in the militant attack at Mangi Dam in Balochistan’s Ziarat district.

During the strike, all markets, shops, banks, private educational institutions, and other commercial establishments remained closed, bringing business activities across the town to a standstill.

According to the Central Traders Association, the strike was organized to pay tribute to the martyred police personnel, express solidarity with their families, and register a peaceful protest against the terrorist attack.

The strike received support from various political, religious, and social organizations in the area. Speakers and participants strongly condemned the attack and demanded the immediate arrest and prosecution of those responsible.

They also called on the authorities to take effective measures to ensure lasting peace and security in the region and prevent such incidents in the future.

Residents, traders, and people from different walks of life participated in the strike, offering heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs. Participants stressed the need for national unity and collective efforts to combat terrorism and maintain peace and stability across the country.
