Hanna Urak Protesters Refuse to End Sit-in Until Talks with Prime Minister and Army Chief

HANNA URAK: Participants of the ongoing sit-in at Hanna Urak have announced that they will not end their protest until they hold direct negotiations with the Prime Minister and the Chief of Army Staff.

The protesters said their demands must be addressed at the highest level, insisting that the sit-in would continue until meaningful talks are held with the country’s top civilian and military leadership.

The protest follows a deadly attack in Hanna Urak a day earlier, in which four people were killed after armed men launched an assault in the area. The incident has sparked widespread anger and grief among local residents.

Demonstrators have demanded justice for the victims, stronger security measures, and immediate action against those responsible for the attack. They say they will continue their peaceful protest until their concerns are heard and concrete assurances are provided by the authorities.

The attack has heightened tensions in the area, with residents calling for improved protection and swift measures to restore law and order.
