Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Condemns Killing of Businessman Hashim Noorzai, Criticizes Law and Order Situation

Quetta: The Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkNAP) has strongly condemned the killing of prominent businessman and Kabul Jan Hotel owner Muhammad Hashim Noorzai, describing the incident as brutal, tragic, and a reflection of the deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan.

In a press release issued from the party’s provincial secretariat, PkNAP said Noorzai was a respected businessman who had made significant contributions to the province’s commercial sector. The party noted that he had recently inaugurated M Restaurant in Quetta and remained actively involved in the city’s business community.

The statement described his daylight killing on one of Quetta’s main roads as a deeply shocking and condemnable incident that has caused widespread concern among residents, traders, and the business community.

PkNAP alleged that the law and order situation in the province has significantly deteriorated and claimed that the government and relevant institutions have failed to protect the lives and property of citizens. The party said incidents of targeted killings, extortion, robberies, and the activities of armed groups have created a climate of insecurity across the province.

The party further claimed that traders, transporters, and ordinary citizens no longer feel safe in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan, adding that insecurity has adversely affected business and commercial activities.

The Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party called on the government to immediately arrest those responsible for the killing of Muhammad Hashim Noorzai, bring them to justice, and take urgent and effective measures to ensure the safety and security of the public and the business community.
