Akshara Singh Says Akshay Kumar Shot ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ Song Despite High Fever
MUMBAI:** Actress Akshara Singh has revealed that Bollywood star Akshay Kumar filmed a song for *Welcome to the Jungle* despite suffering from a high fever of 103–104°F.
The Bhojpuri actress, who shared screen space with Akshay Kumar in the song *Ghis Ghis*, spoke about her experience during an interview with Indian media.
Akshara said that learning she would perform opposite Akshay Kumar in the song was a dream come true.
She recalled that the actor was running a fever of 103–104°F during the shoot but remained fully committed to his work.
“I kept observing him and realized how deeply he loves his craft. Despite being unwell, he worked with remarkable dedication, responsibility, and professionalism,” she said.
*Welcome to the Jungle* was released on the 26th of this month. The film features an ensemble cast including Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, and several other actors.
