Two Killed in Armed Attack on Water Tanker of Gas Survey Team in Dera Bugti

Dera Bugti: Two people were killed after unidentified armed men opened fire on a water tanker (bozer) in the Pir Koh Road Chadhai area of Dera Bugti, officials and local sources said on Monday.

According to details, the vehicle was part of a gas survey team operating in the region when it came under sudden and intense gunfire by unknown attackers. The driver and helper of the tanker were fatally shot on the spot.

Security and local sources confirmed the incident, stating that the attack targeted personnel associated with gas exploration activities in the area.

Following the incident, local administration and security forces rushed to the site, shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital, and cordoned off the area. A search operation has been launched to trace and arrest those responsible for the attack.
