Rain and Strong Winds Expected Across Balochistan, Warns Met Office

Quetta – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather advisory forecasting rain and strong winds across various parts of Balochistan. According to the Met Office, most areas in the province will experience partly cloudy conditions, with chances of rainfall accompanied by thunder and gusty winds.
Cities expected to be affected include Quetta, Chaman, Ziarat, Barkhan, Sibi, Kohlu, Qila Abdullah, and Qila Saifullah, where rain and thunderstorms are likely. The advisory also covers Nushki, Harnai, Zhob, Musakhel, Khuzdar, Kalat, Kharan, Lasbela, Panjgur, and Chaghi, with some areas at risk of heavy downpours and hailstorms.
The temperature readings across the region include:
Quetta: 33°C
Kalat: 28°C
Zhob: 32°C
Sibi: 43°C
Turbat: 42°C
Gwadar: 34°C
Jiwani: 32°C
The Met Office has advised residents to stay updated on weather conditions and take necessary precautions in light of the expected changes.
