Two Children Killed, One Injured as Dilapidated Wall Collapses in Quetta

Quetta (News Desk) Two innocent children lost their lives and another was seriously injured after a dilapidated wall suddenly collapsed in Quetta, police said on Monday.

The tragic incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Khaliq Shaheed Police Station, where children were reportedly playing when the weakened structure gave way and fell on them.

According to rescue officials, police and emergency response teams immediately reached the site after receiving information and launched rescue operations. The victims were pulled out from the rubble and shifted to hospital.

Hospital sources and police confirmed that the deceased children were identified as 15-year-old Zubair and 10-year-old Umar. Their bodies were handed over to the families after completion of legal formalities.

The third child, who sustained serious injuries in the incident, is undergoing emergency medical treatment at a local hospital, where doctors say his condition remains critical.

Police have taken notice of the incident and collected evidence from the site. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the wall collapse.

Authorities expressed grief over the incident and assured that responsibility would be fixed after a thorough inquiry.
