Balochistan Budget Being Prepared in Line with Public Expectations and Development Needs: CM Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta (News Desk) Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the upcoming provincial budget is being prepared while keeping in view the expectations of the people, development requirements, and future needs of the province.

He made these remarks while chairing an important meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Monday with parliamentary leaders of coalition parties. The meeting discussed the provincial budget for the fiscal year 2026-27, development priorities, public welfare projects, and the overall political situation of the province.

During the meeting, parliamentary leaders of coalition parties presented various suggestions and recommendations regarding the upcoming budget. It was mutually agreed that the budget will be formulated in accordance with public needs, ground realities, and the development of underprivileged areas so that the benefits of progress can reach all segments of society.

Addressing the participants, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that the present government is committed to utilizing provincial resources for public welfare, job creation, improvement of basic facilities, and sustainable development. He added that special focus will be given to education, health, drinking water supply, communication, and infrastructure sectors in the upcoming budget.

Meanwhile, a delegation of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Balochistan parliamentary group, led by Mir Saleem Khan Khosa, also met the Chief Minister. The meeting included detailed discussions on the upcoming budget, political situation, development projects, and public issues.

The delegation appreciated the provincial government’s performance, development vision, and pro-people policies, and expressed full confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti.

On another occasion, a delegation of tribal elders led by Sardar Kamal Khan Bangulzai also met the Chief Minister and apprised him of local public issues and development needs. The Chief Minister assured them that their concerns would be addressed and directed the relevant authorities to take necessary action.

He reiterated that resolving public issues and ensuring development in remote areas remains a top priority of the government. He further stated that equal development opportunities for all regions are part of the government’s vision, and all available resources will be utilized for this purpose.

CM Bugti emphasized that the government believes in continuous consultation with elected representatives, political parties, tribal leaders, and civil society to ensure that decisions reflect the true aspirations of the people. He added that the upcoming budget will mark a new phase of development, prosperity, and improved governance in Balochistan.
