Significant Educational Advancements in Balochistan Under Federal and Provincial Leadership

Quetta:In line with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s educational vision and under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sardar Fazal Baloch and Education Minister Raheela Hamid Durani, Balochistan has made remarkable progress in the field of education. The provincial government has successfully reinstated 2,864 non-functional schools across the province under the “Education is Every Child’s Right” program.

To further improve the education system, 3,145 teachers have been temporarily appointed, while a merit-based recruitment process has been completed for 7,116 teachers through Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University (SBK).

As a result of these efforts, 85% of the province’s inactive schools have been revived, thanks to the effective distribution of teachers, the hiring of contract-based educators, and the recruitment process conducted through SBK University.

The Balochistan government remains committed to ensuring that every child has access to quality education. These educational reforms are seen as a cornerstone for a brighter future for the province.
