Delayed Flight Carrying Pilgrims Departs from Madinah for Karachi

KARACHI: A delayed flight carrying pilgrims, PK-4228, has departed from Madinah and is scheduled to land in Karachi at Jinnah International Airport later today at 4:50 PM.

According to details, more than 240 pilgrims were affected due to the delay at Madinah Airport. The passengers were called to the airport last night at the time of Isha prayers but had to face extended waiting hours.

Officials said the delay occurred due to a technical fault in the aircraft, which disrupted the scheduled return journey to Karachi.

Sources further stated that the aircraft used for the Madinah-Karachi route had originally arrived from Multan. While pilgrims bound for Karachi were accommodated on board, passengers traveling from Multan were made to wait at the airport.

After the technical issue was resolved, the flight was cleared for departure, bringing relief to the affected pilgrims who had been stranded for several hours.
