Convicted Attempted Murder Fugitive Arrested in Quetta Court Premises and Shifted to Jail

Quetta: A convict in an attempted murder case, identified as Shahzad Saleh Bhootani, has been arrested from a court premises in Quetta after remaining absconding for a considerable period.
According to details, the Sessions Court Hub had earlier sentenced Shahzad Saleh Bhootani to seven years of imprisonment along with a fine in an attempted murder case. However, he managed to flee from the court immediately after the verdict and had since been evading law enforcement authorities.
Sources said that the fugitive later approached a court in Quetta to seek bail. During the hearing, instead of granting bail, the court ordered his immediate arrest.
Following the court’s directive, police promptly detained the accused from the courtroom and shifted him to District Jail Quetta, where he will serve his sentence.
Police officials confirmed that the arrest was carried out in line with judicial orders and further legal proceedings in the case are ongoing.
Authorities stated that the arrest marks a significant development in ensuring the implementation of court verdicts and the rule of law.
