Section 144 Imposed in Dera Bugti District for One Month Amid Security Concerns

Quetta, Pakistan:The government has imposed Section 144 in various areas of Dera Bugti district in Balochistan for one month due to security concerns. According to an official notification issued by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Balochistan Department of Home and Tribal Affairs, the measures have been enforced in the tehsils of Sui, Dera Bugti, and Sub-Tehsil Pir Koh.
The decision comes in response to rising fears of potential disruptions to public order and safety in these regions. As per the directive, the exhibition and use of firearms, as well as double riding on motorcycles, will be strictly prohibited throughout the affected areas for the duration of the one-month period.
This move aims to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incidents in the volatile district, ensuring the safety of both residents and travelers. The authorities have urged the public to adhere to the regulations in place during this period.
