Balochistan Government Issues New Notification on Business Timings Under Energy Conservation Measures
Quetta: The Government of Balochistan has issued a new notification regarding business operating hours under energy-saving and austerity measures, following directives from the federal government.
According to the notification, shops, markets, shopping malls, and bazaars will be closed by 9:00 PM. Marriage halls, marquees, and other event venues will be allowed to remain open until 10:00 PM.
Restaurants, cafés, and food outlets will be permitted to operate until 11:00 PM, while takeaways and home delivery services have been exempted from the restrictions.
The notification further states that pharmacies, hospitals, laboratories, petrol pumps, CNG stations, gyms, sports facilities, IT companies, and call centers will also remain exempt from these timings restrictions.
The government of Balochistan said that the orders are effective immediately, and district administrations along with law enforcement agencies have been directed to ensure strict implementation.
