Major Administrative Shake-Up in Balochistan: Imran Zarkoon Appointed Principal Secretary to CM, Key Transfers and Postings Announced

Quetta: The Balochistan government has implemented significant administrative changes, appointing Finance Secretary Imran Zarkoon (BSS/B-20) as the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Balochistan.

The notification, issued on January 14, 2026, and signed by Chief Secretary Shakil Qadar Khan, states that Babar Khan (BSS/B-20), who previously served as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been transferred and posted as Secretary of the CWPP&H Department.

Additionally, Lal Jan Jafar (BCS/B-20) has been removed from his position as Secretary of CWPP&H, and new orders have been issued to appoint a new Finance Secretary. All these transfers and postings have taken effect immediately following approval from the Chief Minister of Balochistan.
