Important Meeting on Revenue Affairs Held in Loralai, DC Directs Timely Resolution of Public Issues

Loralai (News Desk) — A significant meeting on revenue matters, including correction of official records, issuance of transfers (intiqalat), fards, girdawari, land record management, and resolution of public grievances, was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Loralai, Captain (R) Muhammad Haseeb Shuja.
The meeting was attended by assistant commissioners, tehsildars, naib tehsildars, qanungos, and other relevant revenue officials and staff. During the session, the overall performance of the revenue department, public service delivery, and pending cases across the district were reviewed in detail.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all revenue officers to prioritize the prompt and effective resolution of public issues and stated that any unnecessary delay in the provision of services such as intiqalat and fards would not be tolerated.
He stressed the need for timely updating of revenue records, transparency in the girdawari process, protection of state land, and accelerated action against land grabbers. He added that a transparent revenue system plays a vital role in strengthening public trust and ensuring effective implementation of government policies.
The meeting also discussed a special strategy to dispose of pending intiqalat, fards, and revenue cases within the stipulated time frame. The Deputy Commissioner instructed officials to maintain courteous and professional behavior with citizens to ensure they do not face any inconvenience at government offices.
It was also agreed to strengthen record inspection, field monitoring mechanisms, and departmental accountability.
The Deputy Commissioner warned that strict legal action would be taken against officials involved in negligence, absenteeism, or corruption. He said that a transparent and citizen-friendly revenue system remains a key priority of the Government of Balochistan.
