Compressor Explosion at Rawalpindi DHQ Hospital Injures Three, Causes Panic Among Patients

A compressor of the cooling system exploded during repair work at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Rawalpindi, causing panic among patients and staff.
According to sources, the blast was so powerful that its sound was heard from a considerable distance. The loud explosion created fear and confusion inside the hospital, with patients reportedly panicking after the incident.
Hospital administration confirmed that three people were injured in the explosion. The injured were identified as Hammad, Owais, and another individual named Hammad.
Officials said the victims sustained burn injuries after the cooling system compressor burst during maintenance work. All three injured persons were shifted to the burn unit of Holy Family Hospital for medical treatment.
Further investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
