Saqib Chandhar Issues Clarification Over Harassment Allegations Linked to Momina Iqbal Case
Lahore: Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chandhar has issued a detailed clarification regarding harassment allegations and social media claims related to actress Mominah Iqbal.
In a video statement, Saqib Chandhar said that he has had no contact with Mominah Iqbal for the past eight months and denied making any phone calls to her during this period. He added that he possesses complete records which can be presented if required to support his position.
He further alleged that Mominah Iqbal is using what he termed a “woman card” in the matter. According to him, the situation escalated after the actress’s fiancé reportedly saw a video on his phone, which led to anger and alleged threats made against him.

The lawmaker stated that he has filed an application at a police station seeking an investigation into the alleged threats. He also claimed that he later learned Mominah Iqbal is getting married, and said that her mother had contacted him and apologized.
Chandhar challenged the allegations against him, saying that if any evidence of contact from his side is proven, it should be presented publicly.
