Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Announces Eid al-Fitr Holidays; Balochistan Ensures Early Salary Payments

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has announced public holidays for Eid al-Fitr.

According to a notification issued by the Department of Administrative Affairs, government offices across the province will remain closed on March 19, 20, and 21, 2026.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has extended early Eid greetings to all provincial employees and confirmed that salaries have been transferred to employees’ accounts prior to the holidays.

Chief Minister Bugti stated that the government ensured timely salary payments so that employees could fully enjoy the festive celebrations with their families. Relevant departments were instructed to complete all payments before Eid to prevent any inconvenience to staff.
