Pakistan Strongly Condemns Israeli Misconduct Against Global Sumud Flotilla Human Rights Activists

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the alleged illegal detention and mistreatment of human rights activists aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla by Israeli forces.
In an official statement, the government of Pakistan said it strongly denounces the interception of the flotilla in international waters by Israeli occupying forces, along with the unlawful detention and reported ill-treatment of human rights defenders.
The Foreign Office stated that the detained individuals include Pakistani human rights activist Saad Edhi. Pakistan has demanded the immediate release of all activists who have been unlawfully detained.
The statement further urged the international community to ensure the safety, dignity, and fundamental rights of all detainees.
The ministry added that it is in continuous contact with Pakistani diplomatic missions in the region to ensure the safe return of any Pakistani citizens held in custody.
Pakistan reiterated its demand for the immediate release of all individuals and called for accountability regarding the reported actions taken against the flotilla participants.
