Pakistan Drop in WTC Standings After 0–2 Test Series Whitewash Against Bangladesh

SYLHET: The Bangladesh national cricket team completed a 2–0 Test series sweep over the Pakistan national cricket team, a result that has pushed Pakistan further down the ICC World Test Championship standings.
Following the defeat in the second Test in Sylhet, Pakistan slipped one position on the World Test Championship (WTC) points table and now sit in eighth place with four points.
Bangladesh, meanwhile, climbed to fifth place with 28 points after securing a historic clean sweep in the two-match series.
At the top of the WTC standings, Australia national cricket team retained first place, while New Zealand national cricket team remained in second position.
Pakistan’s decline also placed them just above the West Indies national cricket team, who sit below them in the table, as the competition for WTC qualification positions continues to intensify.
