Saudi Arabia to Resume Issuance of Umrah Visas from May 31, 2026
ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia has announced that the issuance of Umrah visas will resume from May 31, 2026, allowing international pilgrims to enter the Kingdom once again.
According to the announcement, the decision marks the reopening of the Umrah season after the completion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage period. Visa services are typically suspended during Hajj due to large crowds and administrative arrangements for pilgrim management.
With the resumption of visas, an increase in the number of pilgrims is expected from various countries, including Pakistan, where thousands of people travel to the holy cities each year to perform Umrah.
Authorities stated that the move will help streamline travel operations and accommodate the growing demand for religious tourism in the post-Hajj period.
