Killing of Lady Constable Shakeela an Attack on Balochistan’s Peace, Says CM Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta: Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has strongly condemned the killing of Lady Constable Shakeela, calling it an attack on peace and stability in the province.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the chief minister said that the “Fitna al-Hindustan” terrorists were involved in cowardly acts that could not be tolerated. He stated that terrorists were targeting women, teachers, and children in an attempt to spread fear and instability in Balochistan.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti said the attack on the family of Lady Constable Shakeela reflected the brutal mindset of terrorists, adding that those responsible for attacks on innocent civilians deserved no leniency.

He further stated that targeting teachers and educated individuals for malicious purposes was an attack on Balochistan’s academic and literary identity. “Elements who are enemies of knowledge and awareness will be brought to justice,” he said.

The chief minister reaffirmed that the provincial government and security institutions remain determined to eliminate terrorism from the region. He added that the sacrifices of martyrs would not go in vain and that enemies of peace, education, and a brighter future for Balochistan would be held accountable under the law.
