Man Allegedly Kills Mother, Wife and Brother Over Domestic Dispute in Hub
HUB: A domestic dispute turned deadly in the industrial city of Hub after a man allegedly opened indiscriminate fire on his family members near an Imambargah on Court Road, killing his mother, wife, and brother, while injuring his young daughter.
According to police sources, the suspect reportedly became enraged during a domestic argument and opened fire inside the house before fleeing the scene.
The deceased were identified as 50-year-old Shamshad Bibi, 25-year-old Asif son of Bahadur Ali, and the suspect’s 25-year-old wife Maryam. Police said Shamshad Bibi and Asif died on the spot, while Maryam succumbed to her injuries later at the hospital.
The injured minor girl was shifted for emergency medical treatment, where her condition is being monitored.
Police moved the bodies to Civil Hospital Karachi after completing legal formalities.
Authorities said search operations and raids are underway in different areas to arrest the suspect, while further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
