Pakistan Rejects CBS Report on Iranian Aircraft at Noor Khan Airbase as “Misleading

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has rejected a report by CBS News regarding the presence of Iranian aircraft at Nur Khan Air Base, calling it misleading and sensational.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson said the speculative narrative was aimed at undermining ongoing efforts for regional peace and stability.
According to the spokesperson, after a ceasefire and during the early phase of Islamabad-mediated talks, multiple aircraft from Iran and the United States arrived in Pakistan to facilitate the movement of diplomatic staff, security teams, and administrative personnel.
The statement added that some aircraft and support staff temporarily remained in Pakistan in anticipation of further rounds of negotiations.
The Foreign Office clarified that the Iranian aircraft present in Pakistan had no link to any military activity or emergency situation, dismissing such claims as baseless and not supported by facts.
Pakistan reiterated that it continues to play a neutral, constructive, and responsible role in reducing regional tensions and promoting dialogue, and will maintain its efforts for peace and stability in the future.
