India Attacked Openly and Faced Defeat, Now Resorting to Stealth Tactics: Talal Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior, Talal Chaudhry, has stated that India is now resorting to covert attacks after suffering defeat in direct confrontations. Speaking to the media outside the Parliament House, he said that India continues to claim that “Operation Sundoor” is ongoing, but its focus has now shifted to targeting innocent civilians through proxies.
Talal Chaudhry accused India of cowardly targeting women and children, calling it part of a broader strategy to destabilize Pakistan. He said that the recent wave of terrorism in Balochistan is a continuation of India’s so-called Operation Sundoor.
Referring to the national response, Chaudhry noted that Pakistan effectively dealt with Operation Sundoor and will deal with Indian-backed proxies in the same manner. He added that decisions made at the Corps Commanders Conference and by the Prime Minister are clear: terrorism will not be allowed to persist in Pakistan.
He urged Balochistan’s political leadership to stand united with the security forces, emphasizing that while the military is sacrificing lives, political unity and messaging are still lacking. He called on all political parties to adopt a unified stance to ensure swift victory in the fight against terrorism.
Chaudhry clarified that no new large-scale military operation is being launched in Balochistan. Instead, small intelligence-based operations continue daily in coordination with the provincial government.
He claimed that a significant number of terrorists have been eliminated in Balochistan and reiterated that the TTP and BLA are functioning as Indian proxies. According to him, these groups have bases in a neighboring country and are being used to destabilize Pakistan.
