25 Goats Stolen in Karachi Ahead of Eid-ul-Adha

Unknown thieves stole 25 goats brought for sale ahead of Eid al-Adha from Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 8 area, police and the owner confirmed.
According to reports, the incident took place between Friday and Saturday night when the suspects allegedly arrived on motorcycles and in a car before loading the goats into a Suzuki pickup truck and fleeing the scene.
The stolen animals belonged to Muhammad Usama Khan, who said the goats were brought to the city for Eid sacrificial sale and were worth more than Rs1.9 million.
A case has been registered at Malir Cantonment Police Station, while police officials said they are using CCTV footage and videos from the area to identify and trace the suspects.
As Eid al-Adha approaches, incidents of livestock theft have started emerging in different parts of Karachi, raising concerns among traders and citizens.
