180kg Ice Drug Seized at Karachi Port in Major Smuggling Attempt Foiled

Karachi: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has foiled a major attempt to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics abroad through Karachi Port, officials confirmed on Thursday.
According to an ANF spokesperson, 180 kilograms of ice (methamphetamine) were recovered from a container that was being shipped to Cameroon. The drugs were cleverly concealed inside bundles of used clothing.
The spokesperson said the narcotics were discovered during a routine inspection, preventing a major international smuggling attempt. He added that further investigations are underway to identify and arrest those involved in the trafficking network.
Authorities have intensified efforts to trace the wider cartel linked to the shipment, while legal proceedings have been initiated.
