Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti Visits Mir Ghulam Qadir Bugti Memorial Hospital in Dera Bugti

Dera Bugti: Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti visited the Mir Ghulam Qadir Bugti Memorial Hospital in Bekar, Upper Dera Bugti, during a one-day visit on Thursday to review public issues, ongoing development projects, and the provision of basic facilities in the area.
Former Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and former provincial minister Khalid Lango also accompanied the chief minister during the visit.
During the hospital tour, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti inspected various departments, wards, and medical facilities, and inquired about the healthcare services being provided to patients.
Hospital administration officials briefed the chief minister on the availability of medicines, medical equipment, staffing, and challenges faced by the institution. The briefing also covered ongoing efforts to improve healthcare services and provide modern treatment facilities to patients.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister praised the hospital administration and said that providing quality and timely healthcare facilities to the public remains the government’s top priority. He emphasized that negligence or carelessness in healthcare services would not be tolerated.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that the provincial government is taking practical and long-term measures to improve the health sector so that people, especially those living in remote and underdeveloped areas, can access modern medical facilities near their homes.
He added that ensuring healthcare, education, and other essential services in backward and remote areas of Balochistan is the government’s responsibility, and all available resources are being utilized to improve public service delivery.
The chief minister directed relevant authorities to ensure the availability of medicines in hospitals, regular attendance of doctors and paramedical staff, and the maintenance of high standards in medical services.
He reiterated that the Balochistan government is committed to public welfare, timely completion of development projects, and modernization of the healthcare system to improve the quality of life for citizens across the province.
