In a video message marking the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq,” the foreign minister said this day represents not just a date on the calendar but a historic chapter of courage, unity, and unwavering resolve. He paid tribute to the people of Pakistan and the armed forces for their role in the events of the past year.

He also saluted the officers and soldiers of the armed forces, saying that under strong leadership, Pakistan gave a decisive response to the adversary. He added that through active diplomacy, Pakistan effectively presented its position at the international level and maintained restraint during heightened tensions. He emphasized that lasting peace in South Asia is not possible without resolving core disputes, particularly the Kashmir issue, in accordance with United Nations resolutions.

Kashmir was highlighted as a central issue requiring resolution for regional stability.

Dar further said Pakistan remains committed to promoting peace in the region while ensuring a strong response to any threat to national security. He also expressed confidence that Pakistan will continue to strengthen its economy and progress in education and other sectors.
