Crackdown Announced Against Unregistered Vehicles and Token Tax Defaulters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Peshawar (Qudrat Daily) — The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued a warning to owners of unregistered vehicles, motorcycles, and token tax defaulters, urging them to comply with registration and tax requirements without delay.
According to an official statement, the department has launched a strict enforcement drive against all unregistered vehicles and those failing to pay token tax. Authorities said the crackdown aims to ensure compliance with transportation laws across the province.
The statement advised vehicle owners to immediately register their vehicles and motorcycles with the Excise Department and clear any outstanding token tax dues to avoid legal action.
Officials warned that strict penalties, including heavy fines, vehicle impoundment, and further legal proceedings, will be imposed in case of violations.
The department emphasized that the drive is part of efforts to improve regulatory compliance and ensure proper documentation of all vehicles operating in the province.
