Sindh Government Declares Public Holiday on Benazir Bhutto’s Death Anniversary

**Islamabad:** The Sindh government has announced a public holiday across the province on Saturday, December 27, on the occasion of the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh Labour Department from Karachi, all public and private offices will remain closed in the province on the specified date.
Commemorative events will be held at Benazir Bhutto’s mausoleum in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, where large caravans from across the country are expected to participate. Reception camps have also been set up at major intersections in cities to facilitate participants.
It is recalled that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was assassinated on December 27, 2007, following a Pakistan Peoples Party public gathering in Rawalpindi.
