Pakistan Armed Forces Stand United Like ‘Bunyan-un-Marsoos’ Against All Threats: Field Marshal Asim Munir

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Chief of Defence Forces Asim Munir has said that Pakistan stands united like “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” in the face of all internal and external challenges.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the remarks were made during the 275th Corps Commanders’ Conference chaired by Field Marshal Munir.
The forum paid tribute to the sacrifices of armed forces personnel, law enforcement agencies, and civilians who laid down their lives in defense of the country. It emphasized that the martyrs’ sacrifices remain the foundation of Pakistan’s national security, unity, and resilience.
The conference reiterated the resolve to eliminate terrorist networks and dismantle their support infrastructure, while maintaining the current operational momentum to prevent any hostile activities on Pakistani soil. The forum reviewed ongoing counterterrorism operations, including Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq.
Participants expressed concern over what they termed as “misguided policies” of the Afghan Taliban regime, alleging that safe havens are being provided to militant groups. The forum stated that such actions are against the interests of the Afghan people and accused the regime of spreading disinformation against Pakistan.
The statement reaffirmed that Pakistan’s defensive actions are targeted solely at terrorists and their infrastructure, rejecting allegations of targeting civilians inside Afghanistan. It also warned that evolving geopolitical developments could significantly impact regional stability.
The forum stressed the importance of restraint and avoiding escalation in the region, reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to peace, stability, and mutual respect for sovereignty.
The conference also strongly condemned human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir, including extrajudicial killings and demographic changes, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s diplomatic, political, and moral support for the people of the region.
Field Marshal Munir directed commanders to maintain high levels of vigilance and operational preparedness in light of emerging threats. He emphasized the need for proactive measures to address both conventional and unconventional challenges.
Marking the anniversary of “Maarka-e-Haq,” he described it as a milestone reflecting national unity, collective resolve, and an unwavering commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty at all costs.
