Pakistan Navy Conducts Rescue Operation in Arabian Sea, Provides Emergency Aid to Indian and Indonesian Crew

Karachi: The Pakistan Navy is carrying out a humanitarian rescue operation in the Arabian Sea, providing emergency assistance to Indian and Indonesian crew members aboard a distressed vessel.
According to security sources, Pakistan Navy personnel are currently assisting six Indian and one Indonesian crew member on board the vessel MV Gautam.
Officials said the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) Mumbai contacted Pakistani authorities after the vessel, en route from Oman to India, developed a technical fault.
Upon receiving the emergency alert, the Pakistan Navy immediately dispatched a Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) ship named Kashmir to conduct rescue operations.
Security sources further stated that the affected crew members are being provided with food, medical assistance, and technical support. They added that the Pakistan Navy remains fully prepared and committed to responding effectively to any maritime emergency in the region.
